                      Northern Union is a wine focused restaurant + bar in the seaside village of Ogunquit, Maine. We offer a selection of over 100 wines, crafted cocktails and select local craft beer, all paired with amazing seasonally-inspired food. Each menu item is hand crafted from the kitchen of Executive Chef Josh Grindstaff.

Armed with a passion for food and wine and absolutely zero restaurant experience, Matt & Lauren launched Northern Union in May of 2015. Years later, their commitment to super fine food and wine in a unique coastal setting has never wavered.

Josh GRINDSTAFF

From massive cruise ships to the more intimate kitchens of upscale dining, our very own Kentucky native puts out an amazing variety of local and seasonal dishes. Josh leads the culinary team at Northern Union and was recently named Best Chef of the Seacoast 2023 by the Portsmouth Herald Best of the Seacoast.

Molly Pritchett

Molly is the warm and friendly face of our amazing front of house team. Previously at Dufour in South Berwick, Molly joined us in the fall of 2023. In addition to working alongside our amazing staff, Molly finds time to take care of our socials, because Matt was just not doing it right!
